The Bottom Line

Rideshare technology should be enabling you guys to earn a decent living.  But in practice, expenses eat up all the profits so you end up working for slave wages. The best way to escape rideshare slavery is to diversify your rideshare business... the same way that Gavin Escolar did.

Gavin displayed jewelry in his rideshare car and got great results; he increased revenues by 600%.
Just imagine how Uberpreneuring with a GoPad on your dash will increase your bottom line.

Uberpreneuring is a business model that works!  To enjoy its benefits and help start a rideshare revolution; simply support GoPad’s upcoming Indiegogo campaign... get ready to rock the boat

  • Most rideshare drivers can’t diversify their business like Gavin did because they don’t have an appropriate product to display and sell in their own “mobile showroom”.
  • A GoPad+GoCar is the most natural product to display on any car’s dash.  It’s big screen transforms your mild-mannered rideshare car into an infotainment hotrod.
  • All your passengers will see you using it and easily understand why owning one makes perfect sense.  Your car is an Uberpreneurial showroom to watch it work!
  • Driving with a GoPad on your dash will transform your rideshare driving-experience.
Accepting our 3-point proposal outlined below will transform your rideshare profits.

Background
Our “UberOffer” proposal to rideshare drivers can be summarized in one sentence: “Having a GoPad on your dash and partnering with VTI will diversify your business and make it thrive”.

The main benefit for participating drivers is that they earns 20% of gross revenues; simply for demonstrating how their GoPad if (and only if) a passenger becomes curious.  When applied to jewelry

Like ridesharing itself, it's a simple yet powerful win/win proposition.

VTI’s Proposal to a potential TNC partner

Uber was the first “Transportation Networking Company” so their name became synonymous with the rideshare business model.  Valued at over $60B, Uber is still the world’s largest TNC, however there has been an explosion of competitors around the globe.  Exploring this map will help you understand the rideshare industry and the strategic value that GoPad brings to it

Understanding the TNC business
Compared to other “high-tech” industries, the barriers to entry into the TNC market are low.  The smartphone app and database infrastructure needed to start-up a new rideshare service can be written by a small team of programmers in a short period of time.  The industry still has a wild-west entrepreneurial spirit with new players arriving to cash in on its popularity.  For example, when Uber and Lyft recently
left Austin Texas, six new rideshare services sprang up overnight that offer virtually the same rideshare experience as the two giants they replace.

The start-up costs are low because there are so many people who are anxious to make some extra money using teh car and smartphone they already own.  own cars and smartphones

The value of Intellectual Property
Most large tech companies invest heavily in R&D and protect that investment with patents.  For example: IBM have over 7500 granted patents, Samsung have over 3500 patents and Apple over 2000 patents.

In striking contrast to other tech giants Uber has only 9 patents and 7 Industrial Designs.  It remains to be seen to what extent this IP will prevent competition however it appears that the general methodology of hailing rideshare cars with smartphones is open for general use and that only subtle implementation details can be made proprietary.  For example, Uber’s main competitor in the US is Lyft and they have filed 37 pending applications (with no grated IP as yet).

Uberpreneuring is the only proven way for a driver to make enough money to live well.  Gavin’s diversified business model allowed him to stop driving for slave wages and start acting like a true “Independent Rideshare Contractor”.  His natural talents and entrepreneurial spirit were justly rewarded.

Explore this map to see why

TNCs must compete for drivers

The UberOffer business model described above is great for drivers.

But how can increasing profitability for drivers benefit a TNC?

As the map clearly shows, TNCs don't actually provide transportation or sell a "product"; they only sell a data processing service to passengers and drivers.  Check out their smartphone apps and pricing models; you’ll see cosmetic differences however the fundamental rideshare business model and user experience is virtually the same wherever you go.

So what differentiates a TNC’s performance?
Drivers are the lifeblood of this business.  As “Independent Rideshare Contractors” they must pay TNCs a very significant portion of their business earnings for a data-processing service that’s pretty much the same everywhere and it’s a service that’s not terribly difficult to replicate.  TNCs compete in a commodity market in which the key to success is to have more drivers available to do the work.

It’s a marketing war
To compete for passengers the TNC has to have more drivers than their competitors who are willing to drive for profits that

No matter which Transportation Network Company's service you use

If you’re an Uberpreneur... you'll always drive with a smile

Clearly, a TNC that can help its drivers implement this more profitable business model will be able to attract and keep new drivers... particularly if competing TNCs are not legally able to provide drivers with the same level of help.

That’s why GoPad and VTI’s “UberOffer” business model are a powerful tool for growing a TNC’s market share

- Outline why GoPad’s patents will protect a VTI partner from competitors offering the same product to their drivers and integrating the payment of our 20% sales referral commissions into their IT system

- Of course, any Independent Rideshare Contractor is free to emulate Gavin’s business model

- describe teh huge amounts of cash TNCs are spending on marketing and driver retention

-describe the paltry amount of IP that teh big TNCs have and why VTI brings a strong added value to their shareholders

- invitation to partner with TNCs

That enables us to make this prosperity offer to TNCs

The GoPad and its accessories are patented technology

That gives a competitive advantage to our TNC partners

Points to make

Huge investments such as this one in Didi Chuxing or this one in Uber are proof that success ridesharing is more about marketing than it is about echnology.

marketing costs are needed to be competitive because there is virtually no Intellectual Property behind any of the TNC’sThat’s why partnering with VTI is good for business!

This CNBC business analysis explains the fundamental weakness of the industry.

Uber only have 9 patents.

The importance of making drivers happy cannot be overstated.
Marketing to drivers is effectively marketing to their passengers because if a TNC has a vast army drivers and their competitors only have a few cars on the road then customers will always call the big company to get fast service (assuming pricing is competitive).

Are self-driving cars a viable solution?
From the TNC’s perspective, drivers are such a “weak link” in their business model that replacing them with robots is viewed as a possible solution.  GM recently invested $0.5B in Lyft and in principle that makes good business sense for both parties.  The business problems raised by having to deal with human drivers are apparently so great that Uber is shopping for 100,000 self-driving cars... getting rid of unhappy drivers will not be easy or cheap

How socially responsible are Robot Rideshare Drivers?
The entire premise of ridesharing is based

Enter The GoPad UberOffer
TNC managers are searching for a solution and are rightly frustrated.  The UberOffer is a partnership proposal to drivers; the TNCoffer is a partnership proposal that will enable a single TNC to have the exclusive right to give it’s drivers GoPads and help them diversify their business like Gavin did.

They all sell virtually the same service!

In a commodity market, the only effective way to attract and keep your precious network of “Independent Rideshare Contractors” is to enable their business to earn enough for the owner/driver to live well... it’s all about the money!

Uberpreneuring  is a diversified business model that enables rideshare drivers to earn more money; each passenger can shop for a product while they are being driven to their destination.  Since GoPad is a product that's uniquely well-adapted to ridesharing and since it has strong patent protection, VTI can control which drivers are allowed to become our Ultra-Uberpreneur partners.

Enabling drivers to earn more money without any extra effort or investment is a powerful incentive for them to become Uberpreneurs.  Facilitating that process for provides TNCs with a powerful way to recruit drivers and keep them.  Since our UberOffer is proprietary we can offer exclusivity to TNCs in regional markets.

The effect of having an exclusive partnership with a TNC would be to attract drivers away from their local competitors.  The resulting growth of their driver network will inevitably enable our partner to offer better service and greater value to both drivers and passengers.

It enables one of them win the battle for driver loyalty
